Tip: shoot straight on, in even light, out of glossy sleeves, on a plain background with a little space around the card.

How it works
01
Take a straight-on photo in even light against a contrasting background. Use the tabs to measure each side separately.
02
Auto-align straightens the card and places all 8 guides for you. Check each line with the loupe and drag any guide that's off; the contrast filter helps on hard-to-see edges.
03
Get the percentages instantly, compare them with PSA, BGS and CGC, and download a PNG report to share.

Before grading
Don't pay to grade a card whose centering rules out a 10. Send only the real candidates.
In person
From your phone, at the dealer's table: photo, guides and verdict in seconds before you close the deal.

No. Everything runs in your browser. Neither your photos nor your reports ever leave your device.
Each border is measured between its outer and inner guide, then divided by the sum of the two opposite borders. If the left border is 3 mm and the right is 2 mm, the centering is 60/40.
PSA's published standard for a Gem Mint 10 is approximately 55/45 to 60/40 on the front and 75/25 on the back. BGS Black Label requires a 10 in every subgrade, which means essentially perfect 50/50 centering. See our centering standards guide for every grade. Centering is only one criterion: corners, edges and surface count too.
The tool shows percentages to one decimal, but the real accuracy depends on your photo and on where the guides end up, whether Auto-align placed them or you did. Use a sharp, high-resolution image taken straight on, with the phone parallel to the card: angled shots and curved lenses distort the borders. Straighten the card with fine rotation and check each line with the loupe.
Auto-align looks for the sharp change in colour where the card meets the background, and then for the edge of the printed frame. It measures many lines along each side, straightens the card and places the guides, all inside your browser. It works best with a plain background that contrasts with the card and a little space around it. If it can't find the frame with confidence, for example on full-art cards or photos cropped tight to the card, it tells you and waits for you to place the cyan guides instead of guessing. Always check its result with the loupe.
Yes. Drag the guides with your finger. With the loupe on, it appears above your finger while you adjust so you can see exactly where the line falls.
JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF and BMP. iPhone HEIC photos open only in browsers that support them, such as recent versions of Safari; in other browsers, export the photo as JPG first. TIFF and RAW files aren't supported. If a file can't be opened, the tool tells you instead of failing silently.
No. It's a digital estimate to help you decide. The final grade always comes from the grading company.
No. Grading companies also judge corners, edges, surface (scratches, print lines, whitening, dents) and authenticity, and each company applies its own standards and judgment. A card with perfect centering can still receive a low grade. Use CardCenter Pro as one input in your decision, never as the only one.
